This new Loc8 Motion key organizer can track your keys using Apple Find My app. Reveals Its Tech and lifestyle company Journey has announced its debut key organizer. The new Journey Loc8 Motion is now available to order and is the latest product in Journey’s continuing expansion into the trackable market enabling people to keep track of their everyday items like wallets, passports and now keys.
Loc8 Motion joins Journey’s Loc8 fob, card and MagSafe money clip wallet. The new key organizer works with Apple’s Find My app and is powered by a rechargeable battery that lasts for four months per charge. Users can find their missing keys by hitting the Find My app’s ‘Play Sound’ button which then triggers the Loc8 Motion’s built-in ringtone speaker which produces an 80db alarm.
The Loc* Motion is a trackable key organizer that works with Apple's Find My app. If you need to find your keys silently, they can be found by consulting the Find My app map, making keys virtually unlosable. Most of us have experienced the panic of losing our keys and, as we grow older, it seems to happen more regularly.
The Loc8 Motion could be a useful gift for elderly parents as the location of the keys can be easily shared with other family members who can then help with the search. The Journey Loc8 Motion key organizer is small enough to slip into a pocket and it can accommodate up to six keys for the home, letterbox or garage, all contained in a neat stack. However, most car key fobs won’t fit in so it could be an idea to add a keyring with car keys on it.
The key organizer mutes the noise of key jangles and can keep keys in a tidy stack in a user’s preferred order. The material used for the Loc8 Motion is made from FKM material which doesn’t hold stains. The machined aluminum finish of the device protects the internal tracker electronics.
Users can turn the Loc8 Motion’s thumb-screw feature to adjust the tension of how the keys flip out. The Journey Loc8 Motion can hold up to six keys and also includes a box cutter and a bottle opener. The antenna in the Loc8 Motion is located behind the Journey logo and is designed to offer optimal tracker reception.
The organizer is made from a durable aluminum construction that’s wrapped with FKM and weighs just 44g. The design stops the keys from digging into the user’s legs when the Loc8 Motion is kept in trouser pockets. The Loc8 Motion can also be used to cut cardboard and doubles as a tool for removing bottle caps with the included stainless alloy multi-tool.
