A popular crime drama set in Sussex is returning for another season. ITV’s thriller series Grace, based on the novels of Brighton-born author Peter James, will be returning to screens for its sixth instalment. The broadcaster has announced that filming will take place in Brighton, as it has done for past seasons, this summer.
Season five will air on ITV1 and ITVX this spring. A statement shared on social media by ITV said: "Grace is returning for a sixth series. "John Simm will reprise his role as Detective Superintendent Roy Grace for four stand alone films.
Filming is expected to begin in Brighton this summer. The hit detective show set in the city has also filmed scenes in West Street in the old Popworld unit as well as across the city centre. Author Peter James said it was a “dream come true” to see his books brought to life through the series..
