After the battles and the knockout round, the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” finalist secured his spot in the Top 20 of the American singing competition, Taking to Instagram to celebrate his achievement, Vasquez expressed deep gratitude. ” Competing against Jeremy Beloate, who sang JVKE’s “golden hour,” and Kiara Vega, who performed The Weeknd’s “Call Out My Name,” Vasquez stood out as the clear winner. Bublé confirmed the decision, declaring, “The winner of this knockout is Sofronio.” Fellow coach Jennifer Hudson was so amazed at Vasquez that she threw her shoes at him in jest.

The talent is crazy, I don’t know what you’re gonna do. I’m serious, like, my heart. Oh my God!” she exclaimed.

The successive win follows his earlier victories in the competition. Vasquez wowed all four coaches during his blind audition in September, earning a coveted four-chair turn. In the battles round, he delivered a duet of Celine Dion’s “The Power of Love,” with fellow contestant Aliyah Khaylyn emerging as the winner.

In a separate post featuring a photo of his younger self blowing out the candles on a cake, he captioned it, “Turned 32 today and decided to celebrate it working + was able to share blessings back home. Thank you, Lord.” Now, with the playoffs ahead, the singer continues to carry the hopes of his supporters worldwide as he chases his dream of becoming The Voice champion.
