Each year, the event grows, attracting more and more people.

Beverages were provided by Craig Little and Ange Lal (Image: Melinda King) Melinda told the Packet why she decided to organise this special event every year in December. She said: “It’s just nice for the elderly residents who can’t get out to be able to see and hear the band and to catch up with neighbours.” She also shared her thanks to everyone who helped support the event.

She said: “Thank you so much to Helston Town Band for their amazing playing (as always) at ‘Carols on the Green’ this evening. Thank you to everyone who braved the cold – we even had an ambulance crew come to listen and to have a sneaky hot chocolate (not wobbly!). “See you all again next year!”.
