Fatwa issued against actor Vijay over controversial iftar party

All India Muslim Jamat has issued a fatwa against actor Vijay, urging Muslims to disassociate from him. The AIMJ president cited Vijay's negative portrayal of Muslims in films and the invitation of gamblers and liquor consumers to his Iftar party as reasons for the decree.
