Father John Misty has shared plans for new album ‘Mahashmashana’. The incoming album features eight tracks and 50 minutes of new music, including a flurry of recent singles. Out on November 22nd via Bella Union , ‘Mahashmashana’ was co-produced by Father John Misty and Drew Erickson; the LP was executive produced by Jonathan Wilson.

New single ‘Screamland’ is a stunning feast of invention, a seven-minute journey that includes a paint-stripping moment from Low legend Alan Sparhawk on guitar. Estefania Kröl directs the video, with the film maker commenting: “The video is a visual journey through the depths of ‘Screamland,’ capturing the essence of both the music and the artists. Father John Misty blends seamlessly into the scene, becoming a part of the city, a living echo of ‘Screamland.



’” Tune in now. Alongside this, Father John Misty has confirmed plans for some UK shows. The Spring 2025 run opens in Edinburgh, before hitting Manchester, Brighton, and London.
