Farmers get rice seeds in Gazipur

Seeds of Boro rice have been distributed among farmers at Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur district on Sunday.These seeds were distributed free of cost among 600 local farmers on Sunday, organized by Kaliganj Upazila Agricultural Extension Department in collaboration with Bangladesh Rice Research Institute.Agriculture Officer Farzana Taslim distributed these rice seeds at the Upazila Parishad premises in the afternoon. At that time, Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Mahe Alam, Sub-Assistant Agricultural Officers and local farmers were present.RS/SR
