Farmer Wants A Wife is arguably the most life-changing reality show on Australian TV. Not only has it successfully matched 18 couples and produced 27 children , but it also requires the ‘winners’ to pack up their lives and relocate to the country to live with their farmer . One person who has recently experienced this enormous lifestyle change is Sophie Trethowan , who found love last season with Dustin Manwaring .

The 28-year-old speech pathologist relocated 620km from Mildura to Condobolin in October last year and has had to completely rebuild her life, routine and support network. RELATED: Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle ahead of the show’s upcoming fifteenth season , Sophie admits it’s been a “big change” moving to the country NSW town. “I’m working from home and kind of on my own a lot more now.

Obviously, Dustin works long hours on the farm, so you have to get used to having your own company and driving a lot,” she details. “So it's a big lifestyle change, but it's been good. He's got a big family and they've all been really great and they all live close by, which is nice.

The community of Condo has been really good. We made some new friends and I’m just settling in really.” Sophie and Dustin's relationship update Sophie and Dustin recently shared a video message on Farmer Wants A Wife ’s Instagram account, updating followers on their relationship post-show.

“We’ve been getting along really well and having a great time, and it’s been awesome,” Dustin remarked. “We’ve done a fair bit of work to the cottage as well, so that’s been good,” Sophie added. “Dustin’s got things moving along, and we fixed it up.

So yeah, it’s been really great. “We’re really grateful for the experience of Farmer Wants A Wife , we wouldn’t have met otherwise. So yeah, super grateful for that experience and to be here and to still be together.

Who knows what the future might hold?” 'There is definitely pressure' While Farmer Wants A Wife ’s success rate is definitely something to be celebrated, Sophie admits she feels “pressure” for her and Dustin’s relationship to succeed and continue the show’s legacy. “I think there always is that pressure, and you want it to work out, and you do see how many success stories there are. Even from all those early seasons, it’s absolutely wild,” she shares.

“I feel like there is definitely pressure, because it's not your typical relationship or way to meet someone. But at the same time, you can't let that be the sole reason that you want to make the relationship work and stay with that person either.” SHOP: After going through the experience herself last season, Sophie admits she’s “definitely intrigued” to tune into the new season when it premieres on Monday, April 21.

“I'm kind of excited to watch it with no stress about seeing what's going to air and things like that because I'm not involved this season,” she says. “I’ve talked to some of the girls who have been on this season and Dustin's talked to a couple of the farmers as well, so I’m interested to see how it all unfolds.” Want the latest lifestyle and entertainment news?
