Far Cry 4 Gets Surprise 60fps Patch for PS5, Update Available Now

Ubisoft seems determined to get its Far Cry franchise boosted on PS5, as it's just released yet another update for one of the older titles in the series. Far Cry 4 is the latest game to receive an update; the PS4 version has today gotten a patch that upgrades the game to run at 60 frames-per-second when played on PS5. The game update, version 1.

08, is available to download and install now. Again, Ubisoft is clearly on a mission to get all its big games running nicely on current-gen hardware. Before Far Cry 4, the publisher has released similar updates for Far Cry 5 and Far Cry: New Dawn , as well as The Crew 2 , Assassin's Creed Odyssey , Assassin's Creed Origins , and Assassin's Creed Syndicate .
