Fans say that they will "never forgive General Hospital" as they agree that the television character death that "pissed them off the most" was the loss of Kelly Monaco's character Sam McCall . On X, formerly Twitter , one user posed the open-ended question "what character death pissed you off the most?" and while there were many answers spanning across many hit shows, General Hospital fans were very vocal about their dissatisfaction with Kelly's exit. This comes as Kelly's character Sam was killed off the show during the Oct.
30 episode while recovering from surgery. After donating a piece of her liver to save Lulu Spencer's life, Kelly died after experiencing cardiac arrest post-operation. But now, there have been raised suspicious that there was foul play involved in her sudden death - with many heads turning to Cyrus Renault.

And as Wednesday's episode continued to focus on who the suspect could be, many accused Cyrus of being responsible for the violent act as a means to cover up his tracks. This comes as Cyrus was recently questioned by Dex and promised him "hand to god" that he wasn't visiting Lulu on Halloween, coincidentally the same day that Sam died.
In response to this, one still-angry viewer compared this violent act to the same controversial choice executive producer Frank Valentin made when cutting Kelly from the show. They wrote: "Like the way @valentinifrank stabbed @kellymonaco1 in the back when he killed Sam. Huge mistake! Kelly is extremely talented and wildly popular.

Kelly will persevere. She’s amazingly talented and I’m sure any single one of those shows would love her built-in fan base. We are a vocal and loyal bunch.
