Read More The White Lotus has wrapped up its thrilling third season, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. The finale stood out with its suspense, heartbreak, thrill and the unexpected twist. Among the many characters, Mook, played by BLACKPINK’s Lisa , became a fan favourite, with her simple storyline and her relationship with Gaitok, the resort’s security guard, played by Tayme Thapthimthong, became a hot topic.
Initially, Mook seemed uninterested when Gaitok wanted to leave his job. However, by the end of the season, it looked like their future together was much brighter and fans couldn’t help but notice Mook’s change in attitude. She didn’t mind if Gaitok had a dark side, but she cared more about his career.
Those who didn’t follow the plot, Gaitok told Mook that he felt he wasn’t in the right job. Throughout the season, he struggled with his work and spent most of his time trying to impress Mook. After a robbery, he was told to be more tough, which made him think about whether he should continue working security or become the personal guard of the hotel owner, Khun Sritala.
When he opened up about all this to Mook, she lost interest, cancelled their plans and slowly started to ignore him. In the finale, everything changes for Gaitok. He takes out the resort’s only gun and ends up shooting Rick while he’s carrying Chelsea’s body.
Gaitok believes he finally did the right thing and surprisingly, it works in his favour. As the guests prepare to leave Thailand, Mook hugs him, showing that she’s back on his side. Gaitok then gets into Sritala’s car, dressed in a sharp black T-shirt that fits him way better than his old uniform.
It seems like his dreams finally came true, he got the girl, the respect and maybe even a better job. All this happened after he killed someone to get there..
