The latest episode of Jeopardy! saw all three contestants left stumped by a question relating to the hit musical and movie Wicked

Jeopardy! viewers were in for a shock when none of the contestants could correctly answer a question about Wicked . Bryce Wargin from Kansas City, M.O.

, Mary Walheim from Berwyn, P.A. , and Alfred Wallace from Grand Forks, N.

D., found themselves at a standstill during Final Jeopardy . Despite a strong showing earlier in the game, the trio was perplexed by a clue in the Fictional Characters category.

The clue, read out by host Ken Jennings , was: "Boq is one of these fictional people, 'not as big as the grown folk...

but neither were they very small.'" Travel alert for US citizens to 'delete apps' from law firm amid phone border checks Major US travel warning to visa holders - 'everyone is at risk - even citizens' Mary's incorrect response, "What is a Lilliputian?" cost her all but $1 from her wager of $5,999. Alfred put down "What are lili?" with a $10,000 bet but ended up far off the mark, finishing with only $600.

Bryce initially wrote "What are lilliputians?" but crossed it out in favor of "dwarves," reports the Mirror US . Bryce too missed the mark, yet his bet of $5,201 left him with $10,799, crowning him the evening's victor. The actual answer was "What is a munchkin?" stumping them all, despite Wicked's film version being a top movie in 2024.

Fans were left stunned by the contestants' failure to answer correctly and expressed their frustration on social media. One exclaimed, "Did no one read the book, see the show, or watch the movie..

..I lost my mind shouting at the tv.

" Another fan was equally baffled, "How did none of them get it? ! Did none of them see the movie, I thought everyone had seen it!" DON'T MISS...

Disappointment was evident as another user remarked, "I'm not going to lie, I'm a little disappointed in them all. When they kept getting it wrong I started questioning my answer because I had thought it was so easy.

" One more chimed in with disbelief, "Still so mad no one got this correct. Where are you finding these contestants? ! ? ! ?" Meanwhile, some fans delved into the specifics of the question, with one asking, "So is this based on the Wicked version of Boq, or (more likely) the Wonderful Wizard of Oz version? I'm betting it's the latter as in Wicked he would more properly be referred to as a Munchkinlander." Yet another commenter suggested that critics should go easier on the contestants, noting the difference between answering from home and being in the actual game show setting.

They pointed out: "You know, what's crazy is that people come into the comment section and answer the question like they just didn't watch the video for us to be predominantly more intelligent people that doesn't strike intelligence.".
