The college football season is heating up, and with bowl eligibility and conference championships still left to play for, a lot will be decided around the country before the end of November. ESPN's College GameDay is on the hunt for the nation's best game each week, and their search will lead them to a familiar destination for next Saturday's episode. The crew will be live in Columbus, Ohio ahead of the massive Big Ten matchup between Indiana and Ohio State.
It's a game that will feature two top five teams, and one that could be a stepping stone toward a Big Ten championship. We're headed back to The Shoe 🍿 See you soon for Indiana-Ohio State 👋 pic.twitter.
com/hDAGzs43kQ The only issue for next week? Saturday's game will be broadcast by FOX, which means that the Big Noon Kickoff pregame show will also be live from Columbus. Fans in Columbus are spoiled for choice, and they discussed which pregame show to attend on social media. "Both Big Noon Kickoff and College Gameday in Columbus lmao," one fan said .
"Easy decision. The only hesitation was Fox also going there. It’s the best game of the week next week.
Indiana is the story of the year in college football," said another fan . Other fans were upset that GameDay would be repeating a location they've already visited this season instead of going to a new city to highlight a different team and fanbase. This week they chose not to highlight an undefeated Army team," said one fan who disagreed with the decision. "Why the hell is it a 1:30pm game time in Tempe if it was predetermined that college game day would be at the shoe," said one Arizona State fan , who hoped that GameDay would be in town for their game against BYU. "Why not ASU?? Big Noon is already going there next week, y’all already covered both Indiana and OSU this season, and ASU vs BYU is the biggest game on the West Coast next week," said another Sun Devil fan .
"Well there goes that. The east coast bias continues," said one more Arizona State fan . We'll see how fans receive the second broadcast of the season from Columbus, Ohio next week, and how Arizona State and BYU respond in a huge game of their own without much of the national fanfare.
