The 2024 campaign has been a rough one for Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers, and that continued in Week 10. With a 17-7 loss at the hands of Vanderbilt, Auburn's record fell to 3-6 on the season, and fans aren't happy with the team's struggles. While Auburn had more success moving the football on offense than Vandebilt, they simply made too many mistakes to win this one.

A pair of missed field goals and a fumble were all the Commodores needed to walk away from this one with a victory. And with another tough defeat, all eyes turned to Freeze, who has been under fire frequently throughout the year as a result of the Tigers' woes. With another lifeless loss in the books, fans began calling for Auburn to fire Freeze amid the school's disappointing 2024 season.

@MichaelWBratton was critical of Freeze's clock management on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, "Hugh Freeze just took a timeout with 2:01 remaining after Auburn stopped Vanderbilt on 3rd down. Just wasted the two-minute timeout. Great coaching.

" @texasbug called out Freeze for his poor decision-making, lamenting the fact that he "chose a 52-yard field goal with a kid who is 5/11 instead of going for it on 4th down." Others were quick to note that this was the third time Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia had beaten Freeze in the past three seasons, which made the loss even tougher for Auburn to swallow. © Jordan Prather-Imagn Images Whatever the reason may be, Freeze's stint with the Tigers may be going off the rails, and unless he can turn things around quickly, his seat is only going to get hotter and hotter.

The Tigers will have some extra time to get themselves ready for their next game, as they won't play again until Week 12 when they take on LA-Monroe. And after this ugly outing, it's safe to say Freeze will be looking to lead Auburn to a bounce back victory in this one.
