It’s not often that a football play-calling sheet gets much attention but that’s exactly what happened during Saturday night’s SEC matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oklahoma Sooners. The game was broadcast live on ABC in front of a nationally televised crowd, and when the camera zoomed in on Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack from the sideline, viewers noticed something unusual. Holding his play sheet near his mouth to call the next defensive play, Wommack’s sheet seemed much smaller than most.
Defensive coordinators are typically up in the booth calling plays, but it's rare to see any play sheet that small. Alabama is currently running their defense off the worlds smallest play sheet @UnnecRoughness pic.twitter.

"Why need many play when few play work?" added another . "He’s reading it off the back of a CVS receipt," wrote a fan . "Four times bigger than Mike Leach's," one said .
"I bet it simply reads, 'we suck' or 'your fired,'" added another . © BRYAN TERRY/THE OKLAHOMAN / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Wommack and the Tide will wrap up the regular season in Week 14 against their in-state rival, the Auburn Tigers. Kickoff for that one is scheduled for 3:30 p.
