Week 14 of the college football season is full of rivalry games. Texas-Texas A&M, Auburn-Alabama, Florida-Florida State, Louisville-Kentucky, Georgia-Georgia Tech, and Mississippi State-Ole Miss after a few. Former Pac-12 foes Washington and Oregon face off, and the legacy games such as Notre Dame-USC and Michigan-Ohio State.
Another massive rivalry game is Clemson facing South Carolina in an in-state battle. South Carolina and Clemson enter Week 12 ranked in the top 25 and both in contention for a good bowl game. The first-ever showdown between the programs was in 1896 .

twitter.com/46Qo6v87Zs Yes, the South Carolina-Clemson rivalry game got hit with a Noon Eastern kickoff time at Happy Valley. And, unsurprisingly, fans were not thrilled with that development.
"Noon? Really? Again?" one fan wrote. "Absolutely ridiculous. What a joke," another wrote.

"This should be a 7:30pm kick and everyone knows it," said another fan. "Noon kickoff? Clemson is going to need a real home field advantage--this does not help," wrote another . Others also mentioned that this game gets the noon treatment while the Florida-Florida State game is set for the evening.
"I cannot believe this is a noon game when we are going to be 9-2 and Carolina will be 8-3, meanwhile they give the 7:30 slot to Florida vs Florida State when FSU is going to be 2-9 and Florida will be 5-6. Make it make sense," another mentioned . "Two ranked teams playing at noon.

It certainly isn't what fans were expecting, especially with the anticipation of this game. In 2023, Clemson defeated South Carolina, 16-7, in Columbia. Now, the game returns to Death Valley, but a Noon kickoff is not going over well with the fans.
