FAISALABAD - Sahianwala police arrested a fake cop along with his tout and registered a case against them here on Friday. According to police sources, a police team during a random search held a fake SHO Iftikhar Ahmed along with his tout Zaheer Shah. The accused Iftikhar used to act as an SHO in the area and collect money from people.
Both the accused were sent behind bars and investigation has been initiated against them. TWO DACOITS HELD Kotwali police arrested two alleged outlaws with a Mazda truck loaded with cloth costing more than Rs 10 million. Police said here on Friday, the accused were held in the areas of Balochni police.
SHO Kotwali Attique ul Rehman supervised the police teams which conducted the operation. According to a police spokesperson here on Friday,police registered cases against such people under the 29-D telegraph act and started legal action. Meanwhile, CPO Sahibzada Bilal Omer advised the people to avoid making bogus calls at emergency services as your calls can deprive someone of emergency facilities.
