The build-up to this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix has been dominated by Max Verstappen after he was punished by the stewards in Mexico. The Dutchman has come under fire due to his aggressive driving style after running Lando Norris off the road twice. Earlier this week, Norris described Verstappen as 'dangerous' while F1 steward Johnny Herbert accused him of having a 'horrible mindset' .
He was quick to hit back at his critics on Thursday, though, insisting that he knows what he is doing after winning three world titles. "I don't listen to those individuals, I just do my thing," he said. I'm a three-time world champion.
I think I know what I'm doing. I've heard it before in my career. It's my 10th year in Formula One.
"Some people are just a bit biased and I mean, I get it, it's fine. But it's not my problem at the end of the day. I just continue with my life and I keep performing.
