And while they have proven valuable to some drivers, they have also done nothing to tell fans about where others stand ahead of the race on Sunday. Max Verstappen had a disastrous day due to issues with his Red Bull , while George Russell caused extensive damage to his Mercedes in one of several heavy crashes on Friday.
