Max Verstappen will have his first opportunity to wrap up the 2024 F1 title when the season resumes in Las Vegas later this month. The Red Bull star produced one of the finest displays of his career to win the Brazilian Grand Prix last weekend after starting from P17. The Dutchman made his way through the field to pick up maximum points as he navigated the atrocious weather conditions better than the other drivers.

His rival Lando Norris faltered throughout the race and will likely have to wait at least another year to get his hands on F1 silverware. Norris’ McLaren team are at the top of the Constructors’ Championship standings, however, and will be aiming to finish the season at the top of the pack. But they can still be caught by Ferrari and Red Bull , so there will be plenty to play for across the final three races, with the season coming to an end in Abu Dhabi in early December.
