Chennai: Dr Agarwal's Eye Hospital launched the 17th edition of its annual postgraduate ophthalmology education workshop, Kalpavriksha 2024 . The two-day event, attended by more than 250 students from 35 medical colleges across the country, beganon Saturday with participation of 30 faculty members. Kalpavriksha 2024 offers a crash course for postgraduate students, covering exam-related topics in ophthalmology.
The program includes discussions, a wet lab session on the first day, and a quiz competition on the second.A key part is the Dr T Agarwal award, which will be given to the student with the best case presentation. The event was inaugurated by Rajesh Lakhoni, chairman of TNEB , along with Prof Athiya Agarwal, director of Dr Agarwal's Group of Eye Hospitals.
