After having spoken about his new film Jaat , the definition of mass cinema, superstar Sunny Deol also opened up on working with Amrish Puri in some of the most iconic films of Hindi cinema and his exciting line-up of gargantuan films. Talking about Amrish Puri amid the re-release of Ghatak , Deol said, ‘First and foremost he was such a lovely man and a father figure to me. I remember I had my back surgery so he used to come home and meet me.
’ The actor added, ‘We have done cinema where he’s the villain and then he played my father in Ghatak, so we have done all kinds of roles. I miss him a lot.’ On his line-up of films Sunny Deol has films like Border 2, Ramayana, Lahore 1947 coming up.
Talking about it, the actor says ‘I feel blessed. Bas nazar nahin lagni chahiye . I hope I don’t let people down because these are the demands and wants of the people, and this is what they want to see.
