The late Donald Sutherland, who passed away on June 20, had five children. The actor shares son Kiefer and daughter Rachel with hiis second wife, Shirley Douglas. His remaining three sons Roeg, Rossif and Angus are shared with third wife Francine Racette.

Keifer was the one to share the news of his father’s death on social media. He posted a black and white childhood photo of a him as a toddler and Donald. He captioned the photo: "With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away" Kiefer wrote.
