Writing on their website [9 September] the news outlet reported that Erik ten Hag is already planning for next summer and will target a defender, midfielder, and winger with Branthwaite top of the list at centre-back. Everton were surprised Man United moved swiftly to secure a £53million move for Leny Yoro and the Blues will surely prove to be tough negotiators should the Red Devils return for the defender.
