Brandonite Cole Temple is on the move. The Everett Silvertips acquired Temple from the Regina Pats on Wednesday for forward Julien Maze in a one-for-one swap of 17-year-old forwards.

Temple had four goals and eight assists in 22 games this season, while the Edmonton product Maze had six goals and 13 assists in 21 games. They were both first-round picks in 2022, with the five-foot-10, 164-pound Temple going fifth and the five-foot-eight, 165-pound Maze being selected 20th. Temple, who will join Brandonites Nolan Chastko and Kaeson Fisher in Everett, is the son of former Brandon Wheat Kings forward Jeff and the grandson of former Wheat Kings goalie Ted Temple.
