Event at Hardy's birthplace to showcase his love of music

The production, adapted by Deirdre Shields, intertwines Hardy's life with excerpts from his famous works such as Far From the Madding Crowd and Tess of the d’Urbervilles .



The musical programme, devised by David Le Page of the Orchestra of the Swan, promises a blend of West Gallery Music, Holst, Purcell and contemporary folk. The event is produced by Hambletts Events and offers a unique opportunity for fans and newcomers to experience the literary giant's world..
