Evangel School teacher arrested in sexual assault investigation

SHREVEPORT, La. — A teacher at Evangel School has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation involving a student. Shreveport Police Sex Crimes investigators responded to a report in the 7400 block of Broadacres Road on March 12.

The report alleged an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and student. Following an initial investigation, detectives returned to the location on March 13, to gather additional information. Lillian McMillan, a teacher at Evangel School, was brought in for questioning.



After further interviews, McMillan was arrested and charged with one count of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student. She is currently in custody as the investigation continues..
