We may have been waiting a little longer than expected for the Escape From Tarkov Halloween event to arrive, but now it is here and it can only be described as a banger, with zombies being added to Tarkov . Alongside the new update for Tarkov , the Halloween event was released and it genuinely looks like one of the best Tarkov events ever. On the Labs map, players will now find zombies wandering the halls, and if they spot you they will charge at you just like you would expect a zombie to do.
Of course, as with any big event, there is a new quest line for you to figure out, all related to the zombies. The first quest is Don't Believe Your Eyes, which is given to you by Jaeger when you boot up the game and simply tasks you with investigating the rumours of undead beings in Tarkov . A zombie game with the shooting mechanics of Tarkov sounds like an absolute dream to me, so I am incredibly excited to finish writing this article and go play, which is the first time I’ve felt like that this wipe! The early footage looks like these zombies could actually be a bit of a threat if you don’t keep an eye on them, and you still have all the usual things to deal with in Labs, so this could be one of the more difficult zombie games out there. The event arrived alongside the new patch , which also introduced some long requested features such as being able to pin items in your inventory so they do not move when sorted, and the ability to manage your inventory while queueing for a game. Both of which will make every Tarkov player’s life much easier.
How To Complete The Don’t Believe Your Eyes Quest In Escape From Tarkov The Don’t Believe Your Eyes quest is the first quest of the Tarkov Halloween event and is given to you by Jaeger the first time you boot up the game with the event live. It simply tasks you with locating the source of the rumours about the undead in Labs, with no other info given. To complete the Don’t Believe Your Eyes quest you will need to head to the Labs map and then head to a new area that has been opened up.
You can see exactly where that is in the video below, but if you want to look yourself then head to the blue key card room and investigate around there. Once you make it into the new area the first objective will complete, but there is also another objective that will then unlock that you will likely want to complete before extracting. It tasks you with getting further into the new area of the map, and to do that you will need to flip a switch which can also be seen in the video below.
Once you head further into the new area that is now unlocked the second task will complete and the quest will be done. You just need to head back to Jaeger and tell him what you found..
