Saka has, however, backed the trio to “shine” in the Premier League this season. Smith Rowe signed for Fulham in a club-record deal worth £27m having made 80 Premier League appearances for Arsenal, the club he joined at the age of 10.

Nelson, who played 24 games for the Gunners last season, followed Smith Rowe to Craven Cottage on a season-long loan deal. Nketiah, on his part, completed a £30m move to Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day after spending almost a decade at Arsenal and scoring 38 goals for the club. Saka said on the Men in Blazers podcast about his fellow Hale End Academy graduates: “Yeah, I’m not going to lie, I’ve missed them a bit you know.

“Since I came into the first-team they were kind of like my big brothers with the way they welcome me and stuff like that. “So yeah, it wasn’t easy to see them all go, but at the same time, I’m really happy for them because they’re three top, top players with so much quality and I’m sure they’re going to shine in the Premier League this year.” Related Topics: arsenal EPL Saka Don't Miss Transfer: Martial’s new club confirmed, becomes highest-paid player in their history You may like EPL: Howard Webb reveals mistake referee made before Declan Rice’s red card EPL: I never said Jackson is a bad player – Mikel EPL: Incredible, he’s got absolutely everything – Ben Foster hails Chelsea star EPL: This is not enough for my personality – Man United’s star not happy with Ten Hag’s treatment EPL: That’s what the very best, Messi, Ronaldo do – Gallas tells Chelsea star EPL: He’s aggressive, strong – Agbonlahor hails Arsenal star Advertise About Us Contact Us Privacy-Policy Terms Copyright © Daily Post Media Ltd.
