Energy costs emerge as key 2024 election issue

With 67 days to go until Election Day, energy costs and independence are emerging as key issues on the campaign trail. Vice President Harris said she would not ban fracking if elected and defended her reversal on that issue from her stance during the 2020 campaign. Meanwhile, former President Trump is campaigning in a part of Pennsylvania where fracking is commonplace.
