Theowners of Richard Ponder Studio, previously Rona Galleryhave loved being part of the Eastbourne community with theirgallery and apartment right in the heart ofEastbourne. The gallery was a great space, especiallyfor Richard's paintings and also with room for Joanna'sbookshop so she could pursue her passion for books, but nowthey are looking to retire. "It's been an amazingjourney, and we created many community events on the way, including Rona Salon, where we had special guest speakerstalking about their passion.
But you may have noticed thatfor the last few years we've been winding down." Thebeautiful upstairs studio apartment and the gallery itselfare up for sale. It's a fantastic opportunity for the rightperson.
Richard and Joanna loved working and living in thegallery and apartment. Baileys are looking after thesale. It's a sad day, as they do not want to saygoodbye, and the community is already sending their bestwishes including Mary McCallum author, journalist andco-founder of Mākaro Press, who worked in Rona Gallery formanyyears.
