E-SPACE short for Emstret Space (a hub for entrepreneurs) kicked off the year with a successful members’ meet-and-greet event last week, bringing together business owners, entrepreneurs, and startups. The event provided a platform for networking, idea-sharing and exploring potential collaborations. Located at Sunway Mall, 8-Mile, Port Moresby, E-Space supports small businesses and startups by equipping them with the tools they need to grow.
Since its launch in 2019 by Emstret Holdings, the hub has been committed to fostering mentorship, networking and business development. It continues to serve as a vital space where entrepreneurs can work, learn and build meaningful connections. At the heart of E-Space is Vani Nades, the founder of both E-Space and Emstret Holdings Ltd.
Over the years, she has played a significant role in expanding internet services to remote areas, supporting startups and growing businesses across the Pacific. Her contributions have gained international recognition and she has been recently nominated for multiple awards in the Women Changing the World (WCW) Awards. These nominations include the People’s Choice Award – Business, Emerging Leader of the Year, Tech Leader of the Year and the Rural and Regional Areas Impact.
The winners of these awards will be announced at a global event in London on April 2-3 this year. Speaking at the event via zoom, Vani thanked everyone for being part of the hub and encouraged everyone to continue to progress in their business and leverage the hub’s services mainly the local and global partnerships for business growth. “It is truly great to have our first members’ meet-and-greet, as it gives you the opportunity to learn about everything our hub has to offer.
“Our goal is to build a trusted entrepreneurship hub where we support each other, strengthen our networks and grow together, especially during challenging times,” Vani said. “Creating something like this isn’t easy and building a global network is even harder. “But with the passion we share and the potential each of you hold, we are making it happen.
“We also have some incredible entrepreneurs among us who have achieved great success, those of whom we continue to be inspired by. “The Emstret Space allows us to connect with people who can guide us, support us and help us move forward. “So, five or more years from now, we want to see that, as startups and aspiring entrepreneurs, we recognise the reality of challenges but also understand that working together makes all the difference.
