
The actor played Andy Sugden on the soap and is now returning to launch a podcast with his wife Liz Marsland about Emmerdale and fellow ITV show Coronation Street. The podcast will feature behind-the-scenes secrets of how the soaps are filmed with Fletcher and Marsland interviewing some of the biggest stars of each show. The podcast called Off Script: Coronation Street and Emmerdale will also be filmed and released every Friday.
Kelvin Fletcher to launch Emmerdale and Coronation Street podcast Sharing the news on Instagram, Fetcher said: "Big soap news. "A brand new Vodcast, 'Off Script' is coming this Friday. "Get ready to dive into all things Corrie and Emmerdale as (Fletcher and Marsland) are joined by big star soap fans each week.
" Explaining what the vodcast will have in store, Marsland said: "We've got some exciting news. "We are the new hosts of the brand new Vodcast - which is a video podcast, in case you didn't know, of Off Script: Coronation Street and Emmerdale. "Where we're gonna be talking all about soaps and to all of the actors.
" The first guest joining the couple will be Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney who will share exclusive details about the ITV soap. Emmerdale star Rachael Gill-Davis to quit ITV soap It's reported that actress Rachael Gill-Davis, who plays Gail Loman, will leave Emmerdale just two years after joining. According to , a source said it was the right time for Rachael to leave Emmerdale and "spread her wings" as the soap had little in store for her.
The source added: "Rachael has loved her time on the show but it’s time to go. Bosses felt the character wasn’t inspiring much story and so it was all very amicable. "The door has been left open but it’s a definite goodbye for now.
Rachael is looking forward to spreading her wings and showing off her talents on other shows." Emmerdale has recently seen a string of deaths as five characters have been killed off in recent months..
