Natalie Anderson has reportedly landed a fresh part in Coronation Street Natalie, 43, is fondly remembered by fans for her portrayal of Alicia Metcalfe, a beloved villager from 2010 to 2015. Corrie fans will soon see Natalie grace their screens as part of an unfolding Todd Grimshaw plotline, according to reportds. Todd has recently embarked on a new love affair with scaffolder Theo Silverton, who seems reluctant to fully commit without revealing his reasons.
While chiefs are keeping mum, The Sun report that Natalie will be stepping into the shoes of a character named Danielle, who allegedly shares a past connection with Theo. Natalie's previous roles include Lexi Calder in Hollyoaks, and appearances in Happy Valley and Boiling Point, reports . A source told the publication about Natalie's new role in Weatherfield: "It's part of the shock twist in the Todd Grimshaw storyline with Theo.
" James Cartwright, who plays newcomer Theo recently said of his character: "I think Theo is a good guy, he comes in with the best of intentions, as most people do, but he may upset some people with his behaviour." Could he cause Todd, who has already admitted to feeling fed up and burnt out by the dating world, even more upset once Danielle turns up on the scene? Before landing the role of Theo, actor James appeared in Vinyl, Downtown Abbey and Love, Lives and Records. Opening up about his cobbles debut, he said: "It's like being in a psychedelic dream because it's so familiar! "It's either that or having amnesia in a small town where you know everyone, but nobody knows who you are! "Of course, when I walk in the Rovers, I know where everything is because it has been part of our fabric.
