formerly of Masontown Emma Jean Park, 85, formerly of Masontown, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, in Blairsville. She was born March 15, 1940, in Uniontown, a daughter of Della Kimmell and Raymond Kimmell. Emma was the beloved wife of the late John Joseph Park, who preceded her in death.

She was a loving mother to her three children, Shelly Park, David Park and Jeffrey Park. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sean Park, Christina Zottola and Thomas Adams. Emma embodied the spirit of a selfless caregiver throughout her life.

She cared for her husband, John, through his battle with cancer in 1978, after which she cared for her children as a devoted single mother. Later in life, she lovingly cared for both of her parents in their final years. Emma’s strong Christian faith served as a constant guide, shaping her values and the principles she instilled in her children.

Emma found joy in nature and treasured moments spent with her family. She also enjoyed reading, taking walks, and expressing her creativity through crafts such as embroidery and crocheting. Emma was a humble and unpretentious woman who treated anyone she met with kindness and respect.
