Emma D'Arcy Joins Tom Cruise in New Movie from Filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu

Emma D’Arcy and Tom Cruise are teaming up for a new movie! On Monday (April 14), it was announced that the 32-year-old House of the Dragon actor will be starring alongside the 62-year-old Top Gun actor in Oscar-winning filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu ’s untitled feature movie. Emma confirmed their casting in a statement shared with Deadline : “I’m delighted to be working with such extraordinary and exacting artists as Alejandro and Tom.

The upcoming movie, which is filming at Pinewood Studios in the UK, follows “the most powerful man in the world [who] embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.” As of right now, the movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 2, 2026.
