Elon Musk ’s second wife , Talulah Riley , 39, shared a story about one of her early Christmas memories of the tech mogul. The English actress opened up about what Elon, 53, was like behind the scenes of Tesla for the 2022 BBC documentary, The Elon Musk Show. Talulah looked back on a wild festive tale, during which Elon went to incredible lengths to prove his love to her.
“It was one of the bad Christmases. He’d forgotten to get me a Christmas present. We were in Boulder, Colorado, so there’s loads and loads of snow, and we were in bed,” Talulah opened her story.
She added, “And he said ‘I do - you know - it’s not that I don’t love you. I do really, really love you. It’s just, it’s like my brain is exploding.
’ And I was like ‘No, I know, it’s fine.’” Despite the poor show from Elon forgetting to get her a gift, she revealed that things took a dramatic turn: “And he sort of got up in the middle of the night and disappeared. I was like, where’s he gone? And he came back two hours later, and he’d gone outside in his t-shirt and shorts, barefoot, and he’d gone and dug through the snow and picked flowers.
He’d walked all over Boulder and came back with a little bouquet of picked flowers. He was like, ‘I just wanted to show you how much I loved you.’” During the same interview, Talulah divulged how “supportive” her ex was back when she was a bigger star than him.
She shared: “He was very supportive of me having a career, but I had to come back and do St. Trinian’s 2 and it was the first time we’d been apart. And he sent two lorry loads of flowers to set for me, and he’d also found out from production the name of every woman on set and he’d sent them all flowers and champagne and chocolate.
” The BBC then shared footage of Talulah and Elon on the red carpet, as she reminisced: “I remember at the premiere he came along and he was holding my umbrella for me while I was doing some signings, no one knew who Elon was. He was very sweet and lovely and very supportive.” Talulah and Elon were married from 2010 to 2012, and again from 2013 to 2016.
Despite their double marriage and divorce, the Hollywood actress has made it clear she thinks of the Twitter owner fondly. Speaking of his rise to becoming the world ’s richest man, Talulah shared: "Elon was great. He had me alongside for all of that.
So it wasn't like I was stuck in a mansion in Bel Air like a trophy wife, which would not have been fun. I did, of course, witness that for others. But luckily, that was not my fate.
" Now, however, Talulah has gone for a very different man.
