Ludhiana: Ludhiana rural police booked three persons, including a woman, for attacking an elderly woman who asked her to return the money she gave to her to send her son abroad. The accused was identified as Harjinder Kaur of Gureh village and two unidentified persons. The complainant, Manjit Kaur, 70, a resident of Gureh village, said that on Oct 17, two youths came up to her and asked her name.
When she told them her name, the masked youths attacked her saying that she asked for money from Harjinder Kaur. She said that Harjinder Kaur had taken Rs 2.5 lakh from her to send her son abroad.
