The All Progressives Congress has affirmed that Senator Monday Okpebholo remains its governorship candidate in today’s (Saturday) governorship election in Edo. The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka, made the affirmation in a statement on its X.com handle on Friday.

According to the party scribe, the clarification was necessary as a result of fake news making the rounds that Okpebholo had been disqualified by a magistrate court. He urged party faithful to disregard the information as fake because Okpebholo remains the party’s governorship candidate.
