EDITORIAL: Make sure voting bills are fully funded

If you support the concept of a representative democracy and the people’s right to vote, then you should support efforts to encourage citizen participation in our elections. But those efforts have to be done right — including ensuring that non-citizens and other ineligible voters can’t register and vote, and making sure verification efforts mandated in legislation are fully funded.
