Edgar Allan Guzman and Shaira Diaz to tie the knot in August

Image: Instagram/@gmanetwork Edgar Allan Guzman and Shaira Diaz are getting closer to their special day, as they’re set to tie the knot on August 2025 at an undisclosed location in Cavite. Details of Guzman and Diaz’s wedding were announced on GMA Network’s Instagram page on Sunday, February 2, while sharing photos of the couple being affectionate with each other during a shoot.

“Kicking off FEB-ibig (the month of love). 2025 will be a big year for Kapuso couple #EAGuzman and #ShairaDiaz as they prepare for their wedding set to happen this August in Cavite,” the post read. Guzman and Diaz, who got engaged in 2021, announced that they will tie the knot three years later. The couple decided to keep their engagement private out of respect for the actress-TV host’s “timeline.” “Ni-respect ko lang ‘yung time niya,” Guzman said of Diaz in an “Unang Hirit” appearance in February 2024.

“I know pag nag-propose ako, baka mag-no siya sa ‘kin, that’s the truth. Pero naniwala ako sa pagmamahal niya and alam niya pag nag-propose ako sa kanya, pag nag-yes siya, I’m willing to wait sa right time niya, sa gusto niyang goal namin na pupuntahan, I’ll wait for her.” (I respect her time.

I was already aware that she might say no to me when I decided to propose to her. That’s the truth. But I believed in her love and I knew that she would say yes when I popped the question.

I am willing to wait for the right time to reach our goal. I will wait for her.) The couple also made headlines after revealing their dedication to practice celibacy, saying they are firm about saving themselves before their special day.
