TikTok music critic The Swiftologist has branded the song “soulless”, arguing that “his songs are good in the way that heroin is good for people. It’s addictive in a way that’s not supposed to be good for the human brain.”“‘Shivers,’ ‘Bad Habits’ and ‘Shape of You’ are all the same song [as ‘Azizam’], and they’re all so f—ing annoying,” he continued in the two and a half minute video.



“There has been no evolution from 2016. I feel like I’m going crazy.“I’ll never get these two minutes of my life back,” he concluded.

No release date has been shared for ‘Play’ so far.

”Along with ‘Azizam’, Sheeran has debuted the song ‘Old Phone’ on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. He also built a pub for one day in Ipswich, MA, where he played a cover of Chappell Roan’s ‘Pink Pony Club’.Sheeran has also been added to the Coachella bill alongside Weezer.
