Not everything has changed for Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift . Ed was a special guest on the latest episode of Call Her Daddy , which was released on Tuesday, April 8. The Shape of You singer brought up his friendship with The Tortured Poets Department singer when asked about his favorite memory with her.
He admitted that the two remain friends and see each other at least four times a year. When together, Ed said that he and Taylor have a "proper sit-down" and thinks it's "a really nice way to do it." Their friendship began in 2012 when Ed was featured on Taylor's song Everything Has Changed.
He said, "I probably see her like four times a year, and we do what I said — like instead of catching up the whole time, we have a proper sit-down, six-hour catchups, and I think that's a really nice way to do it. But I think [of] that period, yeah. 2013.
" Ed recalled feeling "nostalgic" about the time was the opening act on Taylor's Red Tour, in support of her 2012 album RED, in 2013 and 2014. He reflected on the time they spent together He said, "I lived in Nashville, and she lived in Nashville, and we used to fly to and from the gigs together and do all sorts of, I don't know." The singer continued, "I literally spent almost every single day with her for about six months, so I think that period of time and I do, you know, I see her when I see her.
" Call Her Daddy listeners commented on that clip of the podcast episode posted on TikTok, praising Ed and Taylor's friendship. One person wrote, "Their friendship is soo wholesome and I love it." Another person wrote, "I love their friendship!!" A third user commented, "Man.
