Easterlies prevail, bringing rains over PH

The easterlies continue to bring rains all over the country amid the dry season. According to PAGASA's daily weather forecast on Saturday afternoon, the easterlies are expected to cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms over Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country. Possible flash floods or rains may occur in some areas as a result of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be felt over the country. Temperatures in the Philippines will range from a minimum of 25.0 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 35.
