It should not be possible to have too much chocolate. But sometimes, and perhaps especially at Easter , you can get quickly sick of the stuff if you have been munching on it all morning. If you have any chocolate to spare, then you can make a quick and easy dessert in just 10 minutes.
Becky Excell, a cook and founder of Glutenfree Cuppa Tea , has come up with a “magic” fudge recipe that is made with leftover Easter chocolate. She said: “Welcome to the most beginner-friendly Easter recipe you could have possibly dreamed of.” This super simple fudge takes under 10 minutes to prepare, and you do not even need an oven to make it.
You only need three ingredients, which makes it perfect to make as a fun dessert or an indulgent treat for Easter Monday if you have anyone visiting your home. Becky said: “Every bite is bursting with white chocolate (or milk chocolate if you so choose) and tons of chunky, crunchy mini eggs. They’re dangerously more-ish – you have been warned!” Ingredients 400g of white or milk chocolate 397g of condensed milk 300g of mini eggs Method To begin, you will need to line a nine-inch square tin with baking paper.
Then, simply add your chocolate and condensed milk to a large heatproof bowl. Fill a saucepan with water and place it on the stove on a low heat setting. Once the water is bubbling, place the heatproof bowl on top of the saucepan and stir until everything has melted.
When you have a lovely smooth chocolate sauce, stir in the mini eggs, but make sure to reserve a handful to decorate the top of the fudge with. Pour the chocolatey mixture into the prepared square tin. Crush up the reserved mini eggs and scatter over the top.
Place the fudge in the fridge to chill for at least two to three hours, and once the time is up you will make a gooey and indulgent fudge that is incredibly easy to make..
