Trafford is abuzz this April with Easter fun for the whole family. Whether it’s fairground rides, treasure trails, or tombolas that strike your fancy, Trafford has something for everyone. We have put together a list to make choosing your next April adventure just that little bit easier.
Easter Adventures at Dunham Massey - Dunham Massey, Woodhouse Lane, Altrincham - WA14 4SJ This outdoor Easter adventure through Dunham Massey Park sees children hunt for chocolate eggs while learning about local wildlife. The trail begins at Dunham Massey visitor centre. Participants can head down anytime between Thursday, April 10 and Sunday, April 27 from 10am to 4pm To take part, purchase a ‘Trail Pack’ from the visitor centre for £3.
50. Friends of Davyhulme Park Easter Event - Davyhulme Park, Urmston, M41 0UR Easter excitement in leafy Davyhulme park this features a scavenger hunt, raffle, crafts, and games for all the family. The fun takes place in the park on Sunday, April 13, between 12pm and 2pm.
TP Eggstravaganza free Easter card workshop - Trafford Palazzo, Stretford, M17 8AS Head to Trafford Palazzo for a family-friendly crash course in creating your own Easter card. Trafford Palazzo will be hosting several Easter events throughout April. For this one, head down on Friday, April 18 between 11am and 4pm Best of all, it’s absolutely free.
TP Eggstravaganza free Easter bunny headband workshop - Trafford Palazzo, Stretford, M17 8AS A free workshop where kids will have the opportunity to make their own Easter bunny headband, complete with floppy ears. For this event, head to Trafford Palazzo on Saturday, April 19 between 11am and 4pm. As with all Easter events at Trafford Palazzo, this is totally free.
The Big Easter Trail - Bean & Brush Art cafe, Sale, M33 7XZ This large Easter adventure around Sale includes activities, puzzles, and treats. To take part, head to the Bean & Brush Art cafe in Sale from 10am between April 11 and 19. Easter Eggstravaganza - Victoria Park, Stretford, M32 0AD An Easter egg hunt, crafts, and games for the kids in Stretford’s sunny Victoria Park .
Celebrations will be taking place in Victoria Park on Saturday, April 19 between 1pm and 4pm. Attendance is free. Easter Sunday Funday - Walton Park, Sale, M33 4AT This big event in Sale’s Walton Park will feature steam trains, fairground rides, an Easter egg hunt, a tombola and refreshments.
The funday will take place in Walton Park on April 20. The main event takes place between 1pm and 4pm, but fairground rides will be there from 11am. TP Eggstravaganza Free Easter Biscuit Decorating - Trafford Palazzo, Stretford, M17 8AS A free workshop giving children the chance to decorate their own sweet treats any way they want.
Head to the Palazzo on Sunday, April 20 between 11am and 4pm to take part, entirely for free. TP Eggstravaganza: Meet our Easter Characters - Trafford Palazzo, Stretford, M17 8AS The Easter Bunny will be taking time out of his busy schedule and spending two days in Trafford Palazzo, taking pictures and giving out Easter hugs. Also making an appearance is Maximus Palazzo, Trafford Palazzo's newest – and cuddliest – team member.
