KUALA LUMPUR: Internal discussions on a potential collaboration between Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) have begun in Sabah ahead of the state election.Sabah BN chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said that the proposal was welcomed by both sides as they discussed making technical adjustments to align their approaches. He suggested that this move would ensure political stability and continuity of the state-level unity government, Daily Express reported today.
He said BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi also supports the idea and is expected to issue an official statement on the matter soon.Bung added that Putatan member of Parliament Datuk Shahelmy Yahya's six year suspension from Umno for disloyalty was consistent with party decisions made last year.© New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd.
