The Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) wrapped up their last day of practice as they get ready to take on the Cincinnati Bengals (3-4) in Week 8. Only two starters, tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring) and right guard Mekhi Becton (concussion) did not practice on Friday and have been ruled out. Insider linebacker Zack Baun (shoulder) practiced in full on Thursday and Friday after being held out on Wednesday.
Several other key starters, who started the week limited due to rest, also returned to full practice: running back Saquon Barkley, outsider linebackers Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat, and cornerback Darius Slay. Eagles Week 8 Injury Report Observations It was reported last week that TE Dallas Goedert will miss a few games with his hamstring injury. CB Darius Slay has been dealing with a "day-to-day" knee injury but will be fine for Sunday.
LB Zack Baun was a new addition to the Eagles' injury report but was spotted working out on the side alone during Wednesday's practice. He practiced in full on Thursday and Friday. With Mekhi Becton out, Tyler Steen has been taking first-team reps at right guard during practice.
The Eagles placed DT Byron Young on Injured Reserve. He still has yet to suit up for the Eagles and will miss at least the next four weeks of practice. CB Eli Ricks was also on Week 7's injury report with the same groin injury and missed Sunday's win over the Giants.
He has been limited this week. Rookie wideout Ainias Smith practiced for the third straight week since injuring his ankle in the preseason. Eagles must activate Smith this week or he will go back on IR.
TE Albert Okwuegbunam returned from injured reserve last week. The Eagles have two more weeks to active him. The Eagles signed wide receiver Parris Campbell back to the practice squad and tackle Jack Driscoll to the active roster.
