Rutgers guard Jordan Derkack passed the basketball to one of his brilliant freshman teammates, and like most of the 8,000 panic-stricken fans at Jersey Mike’s Arena on Saturday afternoon, he didn’t exactly love the direction where things were headed. The Scarlet Knights had 6.2 seconds to go the length of the court and (essentially) save their season, and now Derkack watched as Dylan Harper took the ball far too close to the baseline for his liking.
