1 2 Prayagraj: Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Wednesday called upon party workers to turn "star campaigners" to reach out to the masses and apprise them of the achievements of 11 years of Modi govt and 8 years of the Yogi govt which he dubbed as "period of good governance, service, security, and public welfare". Maurya was in the city to attend a series of events organised to mark the completion of 8 years of the Yogi govt. "We are on an election mode after completing three years since the last election, and there is a big responsibility to protect the country and the state.

The faith and trust of the public in BJP is the strength of the party. There is no doubt about victory, but party workers will have to work hard," he said while interacting with party workers at the circuit house. Maurya said Uttar Pradesh has established new dimensions of development in the past 8 years.

The Deputy CM, termed himself as party worker first and then a deputy CM, asked the newly elected three district presidents (Prayag Mahanagar, Gangapar, and Yamunapar) to identify energetic and active workers and leaders. He asked party workers to work hard to ensure the party's triumph in all 12 assembly seats of the district in the 2027 assembly polls. "The party will win more than 300 seats in the state.

It's not a difficult task, but we have to do our job with honesty and sincerity. Every worker should consider his booth as his assembly and strengthen it. The young generation is joining the party in large numbers, and we would have to tell them about the atrocities and misdeeds committed by the Samajwadi Party (SP) govt, as the new generation didn't witness it," he said.

Maurya asked party workers to connect with minority voters and beneficiaries and tell them that the BJP govt is working for their development. He also asked party workers to visit villages and discuss the improved power scenario. He asked workers to congratulate the beneficiaries on their social media accounts and ensure maximum connection with voters.

"People of the state are benefiting from the Ayushman card, as even incurable diseases are being treated," he said. Maurya said, "In the previous govts, shops were run in the name of one caste and one community, but things have now changed". Prominent leaders, including Rajesh Kesarwani and Vivek Mishra, were also present on the occasion.
